Kenyan police to begin DNA testing to identify victims of boarding school fire

Investigation ramps up into blaze that killed 17 boys and injured 14 others in dormitory housing, as 70 pupils are still unaccounted for

Kenyan police stepped up their investigations on Saturday into a fire at a boarding school that killed 17 boys, as families faced an agonising wait for news of their missing loved ones.

Detectives said DNA testing is due to begin to identify the remains of the children who died in the blaze.
